WHAT IS A NATURAL FRAGRANCE?
A Natural fragrance is made from ingredients like essential oils, extracts and absolutes. Our products are phthalate-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, vegan, and are not tested on animals. We never use cheap synthetic ingredients, instead relying on rare natural essences. Natural fragrance can blend with your skin, creating a scent completely unique to you.
HOW IS NATURAL FRAGRANCE DIFFERENT FROM COMMERCIAL?
Mainstream fragrance is mass produced and made mostly of synthetic aroma chemicals. For example, when these fragrances list notes of jasmine or vetiver - they contain little to no actual jasmine or vetiver. These notes are created from synthetic aroma compounds, usually petrochemicals. They can include phthalates - fragrance preservatives that can cause reproductive, developmental and other hormonal adverse effects.
WHY IS MY FRAGRANCE CLOUDY?
Angelic Auras products can be cloudy because plants, flowers, fruits, etc. are not transparent. It is important to us to preserve these natural ingredients instead of diluting for clarity. This also provides our customers with more of the good stuff, not filler. If your order is cloudy, do not worry. Shake before using. It will appear clear on skin. Botanicals look the way mother nature wants, and we don't interfere with that.
WHY IS NATURAL FRAGRANCE EXPENSIVE?
The materials used to create these are more expensive. Natural extracts are costly and difficult to obtain. Unlike the commercial fragrance industry, which spends more on advertising than on the actual perfume (for most mass market fragrances, only 1% of the cost goes to the liquid in the bottle), natural perfumers spend most of our budget on these remarkable essences. This allows us to use the highest quality natural ingredients we can source.
DOES NATURAL FRAGRANCE LAST AS LONG AS SYNTHETIC?
No. Natural fragrance does not contain chemical preservatives like commercial fragrance. Therefore, it wears for a few hours and then needs to be reapplied at your discretion. Carry a sample spray so you can refresh your fragrance throughout the day, with a smaller dose.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Like most beauty and fragrance companies, we cannot accept returns on personal care products. Fragrances are bottled to order and made specially for you. We recommend ordering sample sizes first to determine which scents are amenable to your unique taste.
WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING AND HANDLING POLICY?
Orders are processed and shipped within 24-48 hours from the time we receive them. We ship orders Monday-Friday and want to get your order to you as quickly as possible. International orders are not accepted at this time.
On very rare occasions, the packages we ship to you can become lost in transit. Please note that Angelic Auras cannot reimburse orders that were misdelivered by the post office or stolen from a property. Thank you for understanding.
